Pastor Ballmer came to Westwood Baptist Church in June of 1986 as an Associate and Youth Pastor. In 1988 he became the Sr. Pastor. He has been in the ministry full time since 1980.
Mark and Beth met at Baptist Bible College and were married in December 1979. They have 3 children: Christina, Danielle, and Rion. They are actively involved in their children’s lives.
Mark graduated from Baptist Bible College (Springfield, MO) in 1980 and in 2004 and from Heritage Baptist University (Indianapolis, IN) in 1981. He completed his master's degree from Baptist Bible College in May 2005.
He enjoys reading and sports. He has coached 8th grade girls basketball at Grover Cleveland Middle School and the Reserve golf coach at Zanesville High School.
Pastor Ballmer is the past Chairman for the Ohio Baptist Bible Fellowship. He directed Ohio’s Jr. High Camp week for 4 years and Ohio’s Sr. High Camp week for 8 years at Camp Chautauqua. He is also a Vice-president of the Alumni Association at Baptist Bible College.
