Matt and Kristin Workman

Matt Workman became part of the staff at Westwood Baptist Church in April of 2002. He and his wife Kristin were married on May 11, 2002. Young and eager to begin their life together, they are excited about the opportunities God has given them as they serve the youth and their families at Westwood Baptist Church.
Matt and Kristin met while they were in high school. They both attended Pensacola Christian College in Pensacola, Florida. It was there that they began dating on October 14, 2000. Matt graduated in May of 2001 with a BA degree in Youth Ministries. Three months later, Matt and Kristin were engaged. Kristin went back to college to finish getting her degree. She graduated in December of 2001, and they were married the following May. They thoroughly enjoy working with teenagers and are finding great joy and fulfillment in serving the Lord.
Matt enjoys reading, teaching, and playing guitar. He wants to thank the youth and their families for their support and prayers while they have started their ministry. Through God’s power, we can accomplish so much!
